I've discovered the key to staying awake while driving, GUM! However, I get major headaches when I chew gum for longer than 10 minutes. This morning I left shortly before 6am coming from Orlando. This was a successful attempt at driving for a few hours with the girls sleeping. But in order to stay awake, I chewed gum for the entire time! So now I have a splitting headache, but at least I have my bed and my pillow to take a nap on...
The girls were so excited to see their dad today, they ran and jumped in his arms, and didn't want to let him go back to work. Then of course they were thrilled to see Raffi, and all of their toys. Hopefully we won't struggle with getting our girls back on their schedule like poor Beca and Andy.
